Will software updates get in the way of my watching TV? How long do they take?

We make software updates available to you free of charge. The TV box constantly checks for new updates in the background but will never interrupt you with notifications or start an update out of the blue. You may notice a massage only when you connect the box with the power cable (also known as cold start), or when you go to Settings, but you can skip this message. The TV box will then download the update in the background and complete it when you go into standby mode.

If you prefer to do an update manually, the download takes about a minute on a 50 Mbit/s connection and the update itself takes less than a minute.
